Star Players of Bristol County

The Star Players of Bristol County seek to entertain, inspire and educate our audience, community and emerging artists through the creation of classic, contemporary and musical theatre productions.

The Star Players have been in existence for over two decades and continue to bring in record breaking audiences for such shows as 42nd Street, Carousel, No, No, Nanette!, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Godspell, Bye Bye Birdie, Annie Get Your Gun, Guy And Dolls and more.

Burt Wood School of Performing Arts

The area's preeminent cultural art center, providing private instructions in voice, piano, acting, public speaking, audition and pageant preparation and on camera acting. Group classes are offered in musical theatre, acting, choir, junior jazz, advance performance, comedy and improvisation, and screen writing and production. Master classes are offered in On Camera Acting, The Whole Package and So You Wanna Be On Broadway.

Meeting the needs of students from toddler to adult, The Burt Wood School also offers school-year musicals as well as comprehensive five-week annual Summer Arts Festival, Which culminates in one of the area's only full-scale musical performances for children, 5-18.
